How to disable a touchpad on a laptop running on windows 10? Well, it's very easy to enable or disable the Touchpad on your PC. All you have to do is go to the TouchPad Settings and either turn it off or on as required. Many laptops also have the option to turn the TouchPad activation on their Keyboard itself.
For this tutorial, we are using Dell Inspiron 5559 - which doesn't have the feature to turn on or off the TouchPad via Keyboard. Thus we are using the settings on Windows 10 to disable it.
Also, for those whose touchpad isn't working, please do check the settings here. It might help if it is not a hardware issue!
