I remember one guy said that maybe Wuthering waves won't have big number of players, but they will have a solid community.

Take a look at PGR, they didn't make a big amount of money but kuro still giving newest unit for free

We actually do know that 2021 was the year development started because Dong said that Wuthering Waves has been in development for 3 years during the broadcast. Other than that I think this is a great breakdown. Also I don't think the game will actually fail. There really isn't anything Kuro can do to screw this up now. Unless they decide to refuse to listen to players. That doesn't seem likely though

I've never spent money on gacha games till I played genshin and I stopped months before quitting many months ago.

CC's that parrot "genshinkiIIer" to the community) and also people's perception of success like they think that they think they have to beat genshin's sales and popularity. Let WuWa be it's own game

Wuwa success will entirely depend on if the gameplay is good and story is well writen, while leaning more on gameplay side. Its in a market where due to genshin alot of normal people play gatcha, more so the open world type that genshin is in. All they have to do is keep good faith in the fan for that game and it should do well.
