Nightjar and the reversal varient is the only ones I used consistantly for the whole game. Funny thing is I never knew this. I more used it to fight the headless enemies. Nightjar was my movement

Sick clips man, I like deflecting thrust attacks sometimes too I think it’s fun and it keeps their combo going sometimes, instead of only using mikiri. That nightjar slash mikiri was insane I didn’t know you could do that
