First time I got a banshee with the parabolic was actually by accident. Me and my brother were doing 42 edgefield and the ghost was in the utility room. I go to the truck to grab equipment, and grab the parabolic for the objective. While I'm walking in I'm thinking I shouldn't do this yet, and prioritize identifying the ghost first. I get to the room and start telling my brother that, and get the banshee scream. I think we had been there for about two minutes at that point.

I once saw someone get the Banshee scream from a Mimic. Luckily, they already had the evidence to know it was a Mimic, but still.

You forgot to mention how rare it is to get when the ghost is a banshee it can still take forever to grt the scream

The first time I heard it, my husband and I were playing the last weekly challenge at the prison with no sanity and no protection. I walked inside with the parabolic and hid, heard the banshee scream, and left the building laughing before the ghost could even hunt. We knew it was a 50/50 shot of being a banshee or a mimic but we took our chances and it paid off. One of the luckiest runs we ever did, and that was easily one of the toughest challenges for us yet!

Tip: you can go an entire ghost hunt without the banshee ever screaming into the parabolic, so don't rely on it

Another thing I noticed with thr banshee is it'll sing along to the melody of the music box. Very creepy but so, so easy to identify the ghost straight away if you're the maniac who instant uses cursed items 😂

You can also stand still as long it on same floor!! The Banshee will roam right to you. (Non hunt. As in ghost walking around doing it thing.) If you not on same floor the Banshee won't roam to you.

the only part that sucked for me that I didn't know is that the banshee can sometimes make normal whisper sounds and not just it's unique scream. we were baffled when it was a banshee after hearing whisper because we thought banshees only made the wailing noise. 😂

I tried getting a banshee scream for 8 mins, got like 10 whispers and steps, my friend took it and instantly got it. was he the cursed one?

I actually got my first parabolic banshee scream a bit ago. It scared me and everyone in the lobby, despite that I knew what I was listening for, as i was told before banshees do this

Scream is a 30% chance but never feels like it lmao

The scream is only a 33% chance with the parabolic microphone. The events are also an indicator if you cant get the scream from a microphone. They are more likely to have singing events and it will disapear prematurely if the hunted target gets close to the ghost in an event.

My friends and I were playing on Ridgeview, we were very far from the ghost room, my friend jokingly trashtalk the ghost and saying the name, i turned on the para mic and face it toward his direction and suddenly heard the scream right when he was trash talking XD, ghost room in garage, he was at the front door area, i was near the dining table
