This one for the Point Guards, and Commanders out the court out there. Super informative. #AttentionToDetail

Awareness, by default.
My #1 tip for beating a trap.

I think people dribbling over half court need to be way more mindful of getting trapped.
Dudes who get caught out often seem shocked that they got doubled.
They should be thinking "are they going to double?" by default.

Being pre-loaded to expect a double, takes much of the panic/freeze chance away.

Great video as always!
Another thing to keep in mind is that your teammates sometimes can get get you in trouble when they don’t position themselves well, as we saw on a couple examples in your vid, as a pg its always good to tell them where to be when traps happen

1.) Simplicity is key. Make that easy pass.
2.) Use ball fakes
3.) Keep that ball high when pivoting & stand your ground

I feel it would be beneficial to most to do an analysis on staying low while dribbling and driving. Micah Lancaster does a great job at training this. How does a player train it by himself/herself?
