It only works in the cinematic mode for the new iPhone update and not on regular video recording

Everytime im on the video to record, my screen either turns black or freezes like if the camera doesn't work any help?

Literally too many steps to do & remember unless you use it oftentimes until the steps are all stuck in 🧠 otherwise no-no for me, screen on & video above board😁

All it does for me is open the camera pretty useless when I’m abused & need to record without my screen on and with minimum touch. Please help, kept updated, iPhone 15 pro. I tried doing the second part but all that did was start my phone shouting at me about what time it was, what did I want to do and everything that was on my screen, like camera!! The worst thing it could say! So that got a smack in the face! Basically it was like some kind of access for blind people.
