Ten years after the invasion of Naboo, the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of a renegade Jedi named Count Dooku, thousands of solar systems threaten to break away from the Galactic Republic. When an assassination attempt is made on Senator Padmé Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, twenty-year-old Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect her. I just rewatched this movie and I'm so impressed with the sheer variety of species, machines and wildlife. Attack of The Clones has the strongest sense of adventure of all the Stat Wars movies.

The Prequel Trilogy is seriously underrated. I mean, the hate for them is just ridiculously overblown and exaggerated beyond belief. Unlike those idiots who say that there is nothing good about them and consider them inferior to just about everything, I am actually able to enjoy them for what they bring to Star Wars and for being good movies in general. Why people are so blinded by their hate and nostalgia is beyond me.

Just curious, but how many of you out there share the same view as I do: I was born in 1998 and thus grew up watching the prequel trilogy, so naturally I loved them. Now later in life (wow, a whole 16 years old :P) after re watching them and hearing all the complaints against them....I still love them, with AOTC remaining my favrioute film of all time. Anyone else?

I saw this in theaters when I was 6 and it was my first ever Star Wars movie. To me, this movie will always feel the most like Star Wars because it’s what introduced me to the franchise.
