teachers should not be allowed to control when someone goes to the bathroom. I have IBSD, a chronic condition that can be triggered by just about anything. Throughout my highschool years I'd take the time to stay back with my teachers on the first day and explain it to them. I was in fact diagnosed and it was on my record too so they could pull it up at any time. But I told them if it acts up i could be stuck in the bathroom for a half hour or more, my absence wasn't because i was skipping as i never actually skipped a class. Well one of my language arts teachers had a strict policy of "if you feel like you're going to be in there for more than five minuets you need to go to the nurse". Normally I wouldn't care but my school was like a college campus and the nurse was in a whole other building. So i completely ignored her and told her that if she had such a big problem with it she can find the miracle cure for me.
