The Ultimate Creamy Tomato Soup

Kicking off our fall/winter soup series with a Panera-inspired creamy tomato soup 🥫 and of course a grilled cheese 🧀 is absolutely nonnegotiable!

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons avocado oil
3 tablespoons salted butter
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
2 28oz cans of crushed tomatoes
1 cup vegetable stock
1 cup heavy cream
Fresh basil for garnish
