Lots of other sites on YouTube but none differentiated between the three nystagmus, so doing the wrong maneuver wouldn't help. Thank you for your clear and to the point explanations.

This was great. We got an immediate diagnosis as soon as we turned his head to the right. The subsequent Epley manouevre fixed it 100%

This procedure works perfect, I used it and realized I suffered from posterior canal BPPV, then used the Epley maneuver to treat it successfully. Thanks for these videos.

I am a regular patient of Dr. Chang at FauquierENT. I was out of town when I got a bad case of vertigo. I emailed him and he got right back to me, as usual. He sent this video along with the treatment videos. He was correct. I had BPPV. I would have needed to suffer for several days before I could get back for an office visit so this really saved me. Dr. Chang is very generous with has knowledge and very responsive to his regular patients via email. I sure wish more doctors would treat their patients with this much care.

torsional eye movement = epley maneuver
lateral eye movement = lambert maneuver

This is the video that WORKS!  I watched and took notes from ALL the BPPV vids available here on You Tube.  This diagnosis system led us to the Epley Manuver and the cure was instant and complete.  There was no need to keep the head erect for 48 hours like the Mayo Clinic recommends.  If you are looking for additional understanding, the vid series by NEJMvideo is also a good series.  It is pretty technical but good animations.  A MILLION THANKS TO DR

Hi doc . Could you please help me I had episodes of vertigo like stuff. Like something happens in my head and for few seconds I loose balance. Hardly lasts for few second. I had muscle twitches all over my body. I consulted neurologist here . They said it could be bppv or meiners desease. They prescribed me some meds . Twitching doesn't occur now. But that vertigo kind of thing still persists. And that makes me really anxious. I had this from past 9 years. Can u pls help me with this

Urge some "caution" if you are prone to motion sickness. I am and this diagnostic maneuver made me quite nauseated. Nevertheless, it was VERY helpful to figure out which BPPV I had.

*I woke up with vertigo yesterday. I hadn't had it since Jan. I was dizzy and nauseated. I tried this technique. Yes, it made me feel dizzy, but when I sat up, I felt better. Within 15 minutes, I felt 90% better!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. FAUQUIER!!!! I woke up feeling fine today, as well.*

I just did this test after weeks of severe dizziness laying down, getting up, and even moving my head up or down. Facing right, for the first time in weeks, I felt no dizziness laying down. Facing left, however, has the same severe dizziness. Does that mean my left ear has a crystal malfunction?

What if during the Dix Hall pike, you’re only dizzy when you go straight back not going back at a 45° angle left or 45° angle right? Just dizzy going straight back?
