Adam Savage's One Day Builds: Inglourious Basterds Knife Replica!

It's a true One Day Build! Adam recreates the iconic Bowie knife used by Brad Pitt's Aldo Raine from Inglourious Basterds, using the same materials that a prop maker on set would have used to make the original. Taking a screen accurate blade blank, Adam embeds it in an elk bone handle and hammered brass guard and the result is better than he could have ever hoped!

Hi Adam, being the guy who made the knife for the movie I must say you did a pretty good job on this, especially as it took me a bit longer than one day :-D Actually inside the star on the back there is a carved relief of an Indian chief head and not a circle, and the crossguard proportions are a bit different on mine, but still, nice work! Its so cool how he has developed that workshop to be as convenient as possible for himself. I want to see a video where he gives us a tour of his workshop and explains all his favorite things he made to maximize his efficiency and the stories behind why he got frustrated enough to fix it
