On #3, definitely good advice for a beginner. But being able to ride switch is an awesome skill to have for people riding tech. I've been going back through all the balance basics with my left foot forward and trying it out on the trails, and it has really saved my ass in some unexpected situations where every half crank makes a difference.

Waterproof trousers and jacket or just a T-shirt all year round like Pilgrim.

Good to see your enthusiasm hasn't faltered in your time away from the saddle. Can't wait to see you back shredding soon Tom. Glad you're taking the full recovery time off, we all need to take care of our Cardy. 👍🏼😀👌🏼

Tom how have you found dealing with injury mentally? Appreciate its a topic that can be difficult to approach, you appear to be raring to get back in the saddle did u have days when that enthusiasm was hard to find? How hard has not riding been? How worrying and difficult has it been not being able to not only do something you but also not work? What tips would you give to people who are recovering from injury? Any chance of a video about the injury from a metal perspective???

Cool! I wish I had applied number 7 and number 8 before my crash last week! Definitely a few things to start implementing!

#7! Good you touched on this. It's important once your doing anything above a novice level, where inherent risk is involved. Could be a cool mini series, getting over the bars quick and off the bike has saved me few times.
