Good but this is more difficult when you have a limited amount of space and your space is between two cars. For example, parking in downtown Toronto or barely outside local roads which are one way.

Also, I'm pretty sure Ontario Mandates that you keep a 30 cm gap from the curve for parallel parking but my dad which has driven for over 30 years tends to push his car near to the curve leaving about only 5-10 centimetres due to the potential of being hit by large trucks if you parallel park too far away from the curb..

Nope he didn't hold the back of the passenger's seat and back up while looking back.

aren’t you supposed to put your hand on the passenger seat and look out of the rear window when reversing?….
