You may alter your characteristics to be more in line with how you want to live.

Im not sure if most people in the trans community would say that. Hence why many of them now say "sex assigned at birth" as if the sex is changeable later on in life. This is one of the major flaws of trans ideology. Some trans supporters say you can only change gender, not sex. And then some trans supoorters say sex is changable.

Well stated, and not shrill like the counterperspective. Well done.

Omg how many times do we have to go over this I’m tired of this crap. Sex is sometimes not biological, it’s mental. Just because you have a penis that doesn’t make you feel like a man all the time. Also, of course no transgender athlete should be allowed to compete, physical ability is based on biological factors. Sport is physical, not mental. Even if I understand and appreciate my trans friends I’m not gonna pretend everything is fine. So, that’s it. Live with it dude. Move

Gender is not the same as sex, remember. Gender is a social concept of how one expresses themself physically. Sex is a biological concept. They're different things and anyone who knows anything about the two will tell you the same

What's funny about this, is tons of people are born with a mixed gene set from double fertilization or absorbing a twin they never knew they had (i.e. some of your cells will have one set of genes and some of your cells will have another set of genes belonging to a different person) So many people may present as male or female, but in reality be both, or even mostly the opposite from what they present. Our brains also sexualize based on the hormone balance in our mother's wombs which can be off. The question of biological sex is far more complicated than black and white.

That’s why it’s called transGENDER and not transSEXUAL (although there are transsexual people)
