After just having attended my second Advanced Extremites MDT course, I thought I would share some concepts and some research that clarify the role of MDT in areas of the body other than the spine.
As explain, the body of evidence is growing, and the results can be fascinating. I also underline how incredibly important it is to screen the spine adequately, and how just looking at range of movement is not enough.
If you have an extremity problem (shoulder, elbow, wrist, finger, hip, knee, ankle or foot), consult an MDT therapist to get a thorough and systematic assessment, and safe and (as much as possible) self treatment that gets you better faster!
