When I first got into technology seeing a quad-core procesor was something reserved only for the strongest, most expensive CPU's on the market. Now my phone has more cores and monsters like this exist.

Yep, it’s proof that the transistor has hit its limits; just like how tube computer eventually came to take up rooms, soon we’ll see cpus getting so large that the effects will be comparable.

In the future the top half off your motherboard will be consumed by the CPU, and the bottom half off your motherboard will be consumed by the GPU. The RAM will be on the side of the motherboard, kind of like SATA ports
