6:37, this exactly happens, 100% But the challenge I am facing is when you deliver your backup statement to explain why I am giving this certain feedback, they literally forget about it woosh, They're repeating the same thing upon giving the feedback + the explanation behind, but they just don't register this in their brains! I don't know why, are they too busy scrolling instagram?

Very informative! Thank you for spreading this knowledge.

I do have a follow up question. What if a Generation Z is raised by a Boomer or Generation X….wouldn’t the ideology, mannerism, gestures all come together as two generations. For instance, if I am working with a Generation Z but she acts like a Boomer wouldn’t that be challenging to take in. All of her strategies, delivery are all similar to a boomer. So it’s like I’m looking at a 23 year old but her behavior is really a 65 year old woman.

One last thing. Could you please do a video of each generation in the workforce? That would be awesome 😊

Trying to understand Gen Z. Had a frustrating experience supervising my 1st Gen Z intern. Trying to be better prepared to help my future interns be successful.

I’m Gen Z (19). It’s easy, don’t talk to me unless you really desperately have to. I will work hard, but only with right people. I like socializing but only with right people. I won’t hang around if I get a better paying gig, so don’t sweat it. That’s all. Again, don’t talk to me

Unlike Gen z who are smart(technology), Gen x exhibit excellent problem solving skills and make good life decisions (experience/morals)
