I wish I would have watched this 30 years ago. I feel like so many talented people miss out because of poor communication. 💕

As an ADHD person who loves theater, I adore scripting like this that can limit distractions as much as it limits the potential for offense. Bless you for sharing these!

Once again you have fixed my problem. I have many communication issues and no money, so thank you for being so generous and giving this stuff out for free to people like me who wouldn't otherwise be able to access it. It's priceless.

Dan - I find lots of value in what you are doing. You are masterful with words and an entertaining educator. I am using your tips daily at work and there is a huge impact for me. I used to be in a hurry to rapidly respond. Oh no - no more Dan. I can take my time to collect my thoughts and respond appropriately. It's helpful to me that you give an exact example of what a rude coworker or boss may say and then what you say to respond effectively and professionally to get the result you are looking for. I often go back and watch your response 3 times - because they are so ON POINT. Dan, you are so great with your words. Also, breaking the steps down on the screen with words helps reiterate what you are talking about. For visual people like me, it helps to "see what you are saying." I'm going with a 9 or 10 rating for your channel. My most favorite part is that you are so funny Dan. I know so many of the personalities you describe and you are able to show me a direct way of shutting them down with language. It's empowering. Thank you for that. Your sound effects are also my favorite. I watched one of your episodes about NEVER EVER defending yourself (which I am famous for) and how you make that dramatic and in slow motion is SO GREAT. I keep that in my mind each time I get ready to defend myself. I am faced with lots of rude comments and challenging situations at work on the regular. I have a couple for you. "Would you be able to jump on a call with the monthly branch call in case they have any complaints about your department?" or how about an email that says "CALL ME NOW". In that case, I do wonder if they have issues with pressing buttons on their phone or speaking with Siri and telling her to call me. The person that does this has my phone number. Thanks for all you do Dan!

Dan. I feel these instructions will give me freedom. Freedom to be honest. Free from intolerance. Behavior that I feel threaten.

6 for Easy, 10 for Valuable. It will take me a significant amount of practice, but I'd expect that.

Thank you for your comment 𝓧𝓮𝓛𝓝𝓪𝓖𝓪! Yes, this professional communication skills tutorial really helps you improve communication skills in the workplace dramatically, and fast. is more formal; it's not for everyday communication; this is specifically for those who want to move up--way up--or get a better job where communication skills are the name of the game. If you use these advanced scripts, you'll kill it. Especially during the interview when they ask you, "Tell me about and how you would/did handle it." If you throw this type of script down, the interviewer will pass out.
Then come to and hire you. For sure.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I appreciate you taking the time out to do so on your weekend!

Ty Dan for making hard stuff seem fresh again. I’ll look for specifics to bring back to you so that I can get specific help for my script! Looking/sounding great Dan! Nice presentation! Nice photos too:)

It’s a much more sensitive world now. And, as professionals, we have a responsibility to move toward that for our customers or clients, to use our best practices on their behalf.

This is something I can actually do. There is a process and guided suggestions that apply to a variety of situations (from the boss to a subordinate role). Thank you!

I've tried practicing some of these phrases but I'm having a tough time, I keep stumbling my words every so often, its a little more challenging for me seeing that most of my life I've been a quiet introverted person. But I will continue to practice, because it has always been about me. Thanks again Dan
