iPad Pro works with 4K external webcam now!! 🤯

iPadOS 17 lets you connect external webcams to the iPad Pro! Maybe this is Apple's answer to their inability to move the front facing camera to landscape position. Anyway, this looks incredible and I can't wait to see developers optimize their apps to control their 4K webcam on iPad Pro!

I am running the same beta and I kind of don’t like the fact that the changed the HomeKit color wheel for led lamps but I love the usb webcam because I can finally use my capture card to use my iPad as a monitor. Can’t wait for apps to start supporting it

This would be a nice video if it wasn’t in portrait mode though. Those two big black bars on the sides are more distracting than the sliver of a video in the center… at any rate, I’m really tempted to get the Insta360 for my iPad Pro as well.

Good to know, funny enough my only Apple product is an IPad mostly used to communicate via FaceTime with family members, and god every time I FT someone I look awful (more than usual) with the IPad’s camera, glad we have an alternative now.
