I had a spinal compound fracture 6 weeks ago (fell really hard on my tailbone and fractured my L3 vertebrae) and I knew instantly there was something wrong. I go back in 3 weeks to get evaluated by my Neuro surgeon - I may be s candidate for a minimally invasive procedure where they inject cement into the fracture to stabilize it. My surgeon said he only does this procedure if pain cannot be managed by other means. In the hospital I had tremendous pain shooting down the front of my thighs. Excruciating - while I was in the hospital, they had to tie my legs down during an MRI because I was having spasms. I'm doing pretty well but it's hard to sleep because of the back pain, etc. I have RLS (restless legs syndrome) and I thought that was what caused the pain. My PCP told me that it was probably nerve pain from the fracture - the nerves run down your legs. Taking meds for that but it's not perfect. Hopefully the nerve pain will subside as I heal but there are no guarantees. I sympathize with everyone who deals with this.

On feb.18 I fell down some stairs..4 to be exact🤦🏽‍♀️ & fractured th transverse process of my L2 and L3 vertebrae. I honestly believe I had either fractured or developed a fractured in my sacrum. Granted I'm a mother of a 3 & 1 yr old with only the help of my husband..who is amazing♡..I honestly did not get the proper rest I needed..& I am suffering so incredibly much. At the follow up appointment from the day I fractured my spine which was about 3wks after i had broke the on the 18th. They asked me questions. Gave me a questionnaire & gave my back a couple of pokes & sent me on my way. On the after visit summery they said i was there for a closed fracture & said i had a brace..which btw i said i did not & tried to substitute with a waist trainer. Like the ones used for lowering belly fat...at the e.r on the 18th they had me do a CT without the contrast & found my transverse process fractures. Nothing for pain & they did not even mention anything about a brace. It had taken 5wks to feel improvement then out of nowhere 2days later without any injury or any further trauma to my body. My sacrum felt like it had shattered & now I'm having migraines on top of cervical pain. Burning & stabbing pain down my legs into my feet & down my arms into my hands. It's not a dull pain. It's quite literally causing me to become depressed & feel hopeless. I have had my gallbladder removed since 2008 & have a autoimmune disorder & I know that really has had a detrimental effect on my ability to sufficiently take in vitamins and minerals. This isn't the first time I have fractured or broke anything but this sacrum is the worst. My lower back burns intensely with any tiny movement & especially my sacrum. It's become numb to the touch & is slowly making its way up my spine. I do believe when I go back into see a doctor I will not be taken seriously. & has become so redundant i father my suffering & avoid going in at all. Any advice or insight to what it might be happening with this?😬😮‍💨

My uncle has a accident 3 year and got a injury in his back spinel cord he can't feel his leg and don't know if anyone pinch it too .. overall he doesn't have sense in his legss ... Please please anyone tell how can he get recovery because many years passed as he is laid on bed and can't even sit ...😭😭😭
