Thanks for the video. I've tried all solutions, but I am facing an Explorer crash if I multi-select files, and right-click. On single files, it's fine. It doesn't seem to matter which files I choose! Have you heard of this issue, and do you know what else I can try?

solution 3 clear history and for me i deselected everything in privacy then clicked apply no longer has freezes thanks

Fix for Windows Freeze Issue

I finally solved the Windows 11 Right Click freeze issue using the steps below:

Press Windows + X.
Open Terminal (Admin).
Copy and paste the following command:
reg.exe add /f /ve
Hit Enter.

And that's it! Problem solved, no more freezing. Hope this helps you out! 😊

None of them works... Still crashes the Explorer when hit the right click. It's f* frustrating.

How to lock a folder in windows and files should not open in any way without entering password either it is shared or anything

I HAWE WIN 11 ... I remowed foxit editor pdf program and the problem dissapeared... FOXIT EDITOR made a problem with latest update.
