Also there are a lot of free lectures from Stanford at their site and YouTube. I became an AI engineer several years ago just learning from Stanford lectures

Omg, I can't believe you are here! 👋 I'm a new MS student in Electrical Engineering here at Stanford. I started to watch your videos when I got admitted to see how life was in Sillicon Valley. I hope to see you on campus!

Cute video. But very misleading because it costs $85k to enroll as a regular student

Thanks for this great info. I live near Stanford too and did not know about this. Enjoy the class. I may take classes myself sometime.

I doubt a French or British speaker has ever felt compelled to attend an “accent reduction” course.

"pronunciation modification" like wtf who thought of that? As a non native English speaker, "accent reduction" is perfectly fine, and more comprehensible. If anything is offensive is the idea that someone like Marina (that's her name right?) who is pretty much fluent and perfectly understandable should have to alter her accent/pronunciation to be taken more seriously. And the idea that the American way of speaking is "no accent", despite it not being the "original", while British people are also mocked for having an accent. For the vast majority having an accent means we speak more languages than "no accent" people, and that should be enough to get respect.

Good on you for continuing to study, your accent is great though!
