Im 18 and this is my first year since a long time without any stimulants. I feel like myself now and I am truly happier than ever, but somedays everything just seems black and white and I struggle with motivation and keeping up with things. This was super helpfull. Thank you.

Your mental process is similar to mine. Guilt and shame works initially then paralyses me after a while. Thanks for the tip about reviewing stuff you’ve made before for motivation; I have all these videos of me playing piano and I usually get a decent dopamine hit when I watch them again. I just have to make sure I don’t get hyper-focused and then put off doing the initial thing I wanted to do 🙃

Thanks for that dude. I got diagnosed last year and it's been a double edged sword to deal with. My motivation is so bad at the minute along with my anxiety. I'm struggling to be fair but thank you 😊

Im back 6 months on. Setting up the task to stop guilt doesn't always help. At times yes but mostly no. Random feelings of motivation help when it arises but you cant plan it. Do you do streaming where we can all chat live to chat and help each other coz im lost. Only got diagnosed last year so im pretty desperate 😔

My wife says it's laziness. But she doesn't have ADHD.
