This was reuploaded because YouTube machine learning stuff age-restricted the video 10 hours after I uploaded it. Sorry for excessive blurring, but I have to because YouTube won't tell me what's wrong at all. :(

You forgot the 'MC sitting in the last row window seat' trope in every High School anime

You forgot to mention the "sidekick interrupting the flow of a fight to explain everyone's moves" 😂😂😂

when a villain that is impossible to defeat becomes the main character’s ally and suddenly becomes weak

Always hate it when MC lost himself, powered up and almost kill the villain only for that one girl to hug and stop him. Do it AFTER the villain is dead. Not BEFORE

You also forgot the "letting the enemy power-up before fighting them" trope and how AoT just threw that completely out the window.

The reason the “fatherless trope” exists is for relatability 😊

Just wanted to give my 2 cents

1) Yelling: I believe the reason for a character to yell attack names in Anime is due to attacks looking similar in mangas. Since manga is primary black and white, sometimes a move will look similar to another one and can't be distingished with different colors (like in anime), so yelling was used to help the reader know the difference. Which was just add to the anime.

2) No Dad: I believe the orginial reason for no dads in anime came from world war I. Since Japanese men went off to war, children were left at home with their mothers, leaving boys to seek out a master/ mentor that will teach them and help them grow stronger. Normally an elderly person.

All anime protagonists with no dad: i hate you dad, why did you leave me
Gon: i love you dad, he must be so cool to leave us
(edward, naruto, ... cringes)

The filler episode explaining filler episodes in gintama is peak filler episode.

For yelling attacks a key note to remember is to never claim something about it or try to explain it as this will backfire. Some examples include:
“No one can deflect the Emerald Splash” (Deflects Emerald Splash)
“No one has ever stopped Zoltraak” (Stops Zoltraak)
“Your beyblade can not stop the 4000 year old Beylin Temple’s special technique (Stops the 4000 year old Beylin Temple’s special Technique)
Your Pikachu can not counter my Spritzee’s trick room (Counters Spritzee’s trick room)

However if you say something about your opponent’s attack and especially a negative statement, then there is a high chance the reverse will happen-this will be on the exam-
“No one has ever summoned Exodia” (Summons Exodia)
“Your quirk can not damage me” (Damages him)

There's also the "You can't X this Y" trope:
("No one can deflect the Emerald Splash" **Gets deflected** ) That sort of thing
Honestly it constantly brings me back to what Farengar says, "One sure mark of a fool is to dismiss anything that falls outside his experience as being impossible"

The "lengthy monologue/dialogue in the heat of battle", when the fight is interrupted usually for explaining how they predicted the opponents attack + either insulting or respecting the opponent's fighting skills

6:30 I'm not sure about recent authors but in earlier mangas the whole 'no dad' was because of either fathers not being home often cause they worked a lot (common in Japan I read somewhere) but also during conflicts, the soldiers were primarily men leading many homes to be fatherless (especially after WWII).

7:08 you putting JJK music here for this is just hilarious they literally do team jumpings on a daily basis in that verse 😭

In martial arts our shouts do 2 separate things. They can scare or startle an enemy. This can create an opening or potentially slow down an attack. The second use is it briefly tightens your abs. If you are attacked near the stomach, this can reduce the effectiveness of being hit. Almost on the same train of thought, it can possibly if timed right can prevent getting the wind knocked out of you.
