The iPhone 12 Sensor Apple Didn’t Tell You About
Показать описание
Are you wondering what that side sensor is on the side of the iPhone 12?
Well in this video I’m going to be breaking down what apple didn’t tell you about the side sensor receptor on the new iPhone 12 5G lineup.
It's not a Touch ID or Fingerprint sensor...
That sensor is actually a 5G mmWave antenna window and its exclusive to only US model iPhones.
So Apple released 4 new model iPhones this year and each new iPhone 5G features this interesting receptor along the right edge. It’s a special window for mmWave signals, and it appears to be designed so users can visibly see it and perhaps avoid holding it there for maximum signal strength.
mmWave 5G networks are ultra-fast, but they're also ultra-short range. To use mmWave technology, you need to be within about a block of a 5G tower, which isn't feasible in suburban and rural areas. mmWave spectrum is also blocked and obscured by doors, windows, trees, and walls, further limiting its available range, and because it requires so many towers for coverage, it's expensive for carriers to deploy.
Price:
iPhone 12 Mini - $699
iPhone 12 - $799
iPhone 12 Pro - $999
iPhone 12 Pro Max - $1099
