I dont care about printing but using this as an alternative to taking photos just to capture memories sounds pretty exciting. Hopefully those 3d scans are not too heavy on storage.

You can buy a LiDAR for a 35mm camera which cost $350 and sits in the flash shoe, it’s about the size of a matchbox, I don’t know how it compares to the iPhone. Would need post processing as I don’t think the camera would have the brains for it.
Be interesting if camera makers run with LiDAR or is it too niche like FLAR?
