Crochet Joe's pattern around a normal plastic or glass cup ☕️

Try a silicone sealant, its the only food grade thing I can think of that could seal those tiny knots, be sure to let it dry completely and then add a second layer

Take a small glass and fill it with hot cocoa or coffe then place it inside the cup you made. Just glue them together and bam. Working cup!

Could be a cool mug cover ! Especially putting a glass in it would be perfect! And I would buy more so I could change it often !

I think what’s happening is the hot chocolate is melting the wax, maybe put a layer of clay inside or coat it in resin

Resin. Make a mold to put inside the cup part and evenly do a layer of food safe resin. A good layer. Let it sit for a day and Bam.

Only do inside but make sure to cover everything!! No holes and a really thick layer!!

Add a small layer of water tight fabric on the inside and boom functional

I think the closest you’ll be able to get something that’s drinkable and usable is by possibly sacrificing the yarn and clay-coat-washing to kiln drying. It may preserve some pigment, and a lot of the texture. Another option would be to use hydrophobic yarn and an extremely tight knitting pattern to create enough surface tension to hold anything in although since it’s still yarn, using it will move the fibers and allow for seepage.

Maybe wax it and then use iced coffee? The hot liquid it probably melting the wax this has been a fun series

You can just put an actual glass inside! And then, the cup will hold the drink and the cover of joe will make it cuter, and we can use joe!

Just put a normal cup inside and crochet a sticky pad thing to attach it and hold it to the cup. That way you can also take it off whenever you want and wash the cup and Joe. I had a cup like that a while back

You could make another joe that is the same size as one of your favorite mugs and put a cup inside of joe!!

First of all for a little extra support make your tension super tight, then add resin on the bottom and turn the crochet piece so it gets every where and let it dry to rock solid, then pour a cup of wax on and move the cup so it gets every were, finally add the hot chocolate or the
(I am % sure that it WILL ❤❤❤❤😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊🤞🤞🤞🤞☕️☕️☕️☕️

Like the hair gel swimmers use when they compete? I saw they were really thick if u apply a lot and I think it might handle the hot chocolate.
