The leadership is the hardest to get a good grasp on when you first start looking at a company. It's hard to tell how to evaluate a leadership team when you are first learning. Great stuff.

Management incentives probably take the most research, since they often are buried deep in all of the disclosures!

A great way to explain overpaying for something using a rental as an example. I find people over pay for rentals sometimes aswell there is a big trend in Aus to get negatively geared rental property's.

Every investor will inevitably make mistakes – both mistakes of omission and mistakes of commission. The only investor who never makes mistakes is the investor who never buys or sells anything. When you are 80 and look back at your investment career, I can guarantee you that you will look at a sheer endless chain of mistakes.

Another great video. Will you consider doing a video reverse engineering a few companies the "guru's" bought? It seems everyone thinks they do this but really it's only the first leg that gets reverse engineered. Will you do a fcf model of the company when purchased and when sold. Everyone seems to forget the second part the harder part in my opinion which is why they sold. Most investors buy with an exit strategy in mind. When buying the exit strategy should be considered as well.
