and thats also the reason the 737 max engines are higher, being higher than the wing, they wanted to make in bigger, but if it wasnt higher it would be too close to the ground. But that made it so the AOA was too high, making boeing implement the MCAS, and causing all those crashes...

The engines aren’t flat…the cowl and inlet are. But everything else you said is factual.

B-737 is designed in 1964 as the Low Wing Structure, original is fixed with the Turbo Jet at the early days, at the recently days the power unit is improved to Tubro Fan Jet with the larger cowling, that reduced the ground clearance from the safety requirements, so Boeing tried to flatten the bottom of the cowling to improve the minimum ground clearance

It's also parallel to the wing and has the same special wing shape on the flat part, for more lift.

Thanks for the explanation. Good to know!

You should also include that the circle of the fans are still in the same shape which is pretty logical

Also one of the main reasons is because accessory gearbox is installed on the side of the engines, unlike the most aircrafts where its installed on the bottom. Thats why its possible to flatten the engine at the bottom.

It being a low plane is part of the issues with it too. Time for a redesign at this point, but I wouldn’t trust them to design anything new.

When do you make the videos, and can you make a video about all the plane lights (beacon, position, taxi, landing and strobe)?

Yea that’s one reason but also when dropping the engines, having them flatter on the bottom increases the surface area and reduces damage as much as possible
