The Boeing 737: The Original vs MAX – What’s The Difference?

preview_player
Показать описание
The Boeing 737 has changed a great deal since its launch in 1968. The latest 737 MAX aircraft is a very different aircraft from the early Original and Classic series. As technology and airline expectations have changed, so has the 737 family, keeping it in the top spot for most successful narrowbody aircraft to date.

The 737 max is now so efficient that it uses 0 liters of fuel

the difference: if you look closely you can notice that the original is not scattered on the ground

Would actually be more interesting to know what DIDN'T change since the 60's. Nose cone design, absence of fly-by-wire, etc.

Not gonna lie this channel deserves a lot more subs.

OG 737: Pilot crashes it.
737 MAX: Crashes itself.
Isn't technology wonderful.

To be honest, I hope Boeing just calls it quits with the 737 line and starts a new aircraft line to replace it.

Personally, i adore the original 737 design. Its small (and cute), regional flights friendly, and quite humble beginning (which almost become a failure due to lack of order). Not to mentioned being the pioneer of the twinjet aircraft with engines under the wing, instead of rear. This followed by the classics and the -800 and the -900er of the NGs.

It feels like as if i would love to fly the original/classics 737s.

Holy moly a rarity! No dragged on intro or begging for likes and subs right off the bat, instead actually focusing on the actual video!

It's clear Boeing should stop redesign a excelent aircraft and start a new one. But pilots, MCAS, and 737 are not the problem, the fail is in the poor managers and CEOs/FAA who put the revenues ahead of safety.

For me, the only variant is the 732. That original design captured my heart as a kid, and no amount of bells and whistles can impress me further. Having said that, I do appreciate the R&D that Boeing has invested into her to bring it into the 21st century. Yes, she will overcome her recent problems, as all aircraft do, and will be just as important to air travel as her predecessors. Cheers

The content over the past 3 days has been Amazing! Guys, keep it up! I would also like an airbus vs Boeing comparison a bit like this, where you compare their similar planes e.g 737 vs a320

But one thing is for sure similar. Both crash more frequently than A320’s.

The difference is: one is safe, the other one is not.

Would rather fly a 737-200 than a Max all day long

"Could become the most popular yet, once current issues are overcome". Correction: "... IF the current issues are overcome".
