7:20-Dasa is not equal to slave. It means a servant. Even the PM is also a public servant. And the kings in ancient India paid the labours properly.

Name one slave in Mahabharat, Ramayan, even if you consider them literature, they were still written thousands of years ago-- In Ramayan, Manthara (Ram's mother, Kaikai's servenat) had her own room and was living inside the palace. In Mahabharat, Draupadi and Kunti both had their Dasis (Servants) as thier friends. Those dasis, if they were slaves, they won't be considerd as friends.

From what i know "Das" in Hinduism is not equatable to "Slave" in other cultures. Slave was captured/traded had no free will. Das on the other hand was a volutary role taken up by individuals. You will find its description in one of Shri Rajiv Malhotra's videos talking about his book on Sanskrit Non-translatables (words). I figure "Das" is one of those words.

فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ يَكْتُبُوْنَ الْكِتٰبَ بِاَ يْدِيْهِمْ ثُمَّ يَقُوْلُوْنَ هٰذَا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ لِيَشْتَرُوْا بِهٖ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۗ فَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا کَتَبَتْ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَوَيْلٌ لَّهُمْ مِّمَّا يَكْسِبُوْنَ
"So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah, " in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn."
(QS. Al-Baqara 2: Verse 79)

Many questions come up in this discussion :
(1) while saying Jews were an advanced civilisation, can we get more info on how and why they were more advanced ?
(2) while saying that scriptures represented religion and mentioning the Torah, bible, koran, Vedas, we forget that Vedas and Upanishads pre-date all other scriptures. Maybe he can throw more light on this
