Finally, after an hour of scrolling through some terrible videos, a presentation that is clear, concise and easy to understand. No fancy ego trips and useless chatter, just good solid imparting of knowledge. Well done Dave. I'll be looking out for more of your 'stuff'. Thanks

Hi Dave, hope you're still answering comments here! I notice File History only backs up whats in the user account on C:\Users... What if I've got important files spread across multiple drives? Can I simply click "add a folder" in the backup options menu and add the other drives? Or am I going to have to manually back up the other drives?

Also, if I add the Program Files and Program Files x86 folders in this way, as well as the Windows folder etc., from my C drive... will I be able to restore all of these, or even just boot from the backup drive in the event of an issue with the PC? Could I even just remove all the folders that are selected there by default, and simply add my four internal drives as four folders to back up using File History, including the C drive in its entirety??

Thank you. At last an instructional tech video that even a oldie (67) like me can understand!
Clear, concise and well ordered. I have deleted all the other 'tech' videos, now you are my go-to for tech support.
Huge relief to find you.

There is nothing more important, in a vulnerable moment like this than protecting our data with adequate and cutting-edge systems, which know how to evolve as hacker attacks evolve! It is essential for companies to get culture on this aspect that should not be underestimated and consider backup a fundamental tool to be used every day, also because the costs to be faced after an attack are really onerous!

I tried to restore my computer with this feature but found I have no restore point, and my computer is not bootable, I finally made a bootable disk with aomei backupper and made a image on another one to get my pc back to normall.

I appreciate your idea of backing up BOTH on the cloud and on an external hard drive, and since my research and writing is irreplaceable, that's what I am going to do. NOW. Thank you for making a clear video that covers all my questions!

I used to backup in this way but now I think aomei backupper is a more convenient way than backup with built-in utility, it saves much time.
