2023: Backup iPhone to MacBook or iMac (Full Backup Super Easy)

I show you how to backup (full backup) an iPhone to a MacBook or iMac (Apple Mac computer) from the Finder window (no iTunes). I hope this helps.

Does this work using an older MacBook (2011) to back up an older iPhone 6s Plus then transfer to an newer iPhone like iPhone 13? Last I was told by apple “you have to buy a newer MacBook to back up your phone” true??
