Ian, that was super easy to follow! Thanks a ton. Just goofing off with Procreate, and this was amazing!! THANK YOU! Super silly (rookie) question. I followed right along and it worked brilliantly, with the exception of one small part at the end. When you created the last layer, to add a some white accents (with overlay selected), I can't seem to get mine white. Regardless of what color I choose, it just makes a lighter color of the red (of the letter) I am attempting to put the highlights in. I know this is pretty difficult to troubleshoot just based off that, but if it's something wicked obvious, I would love to know what I missed. :) Thanks so much. This tutorial was great!

Nicely presented! 👏🏼 Motion blur can be handy for creating extrusions if you have many corners to connect.

Thanks for this. I was looking for a way to do outlining. I’ve done tones of lettering with shadows but I couldn’t outline. One Q: why do you need to set your top layer for the highlights on “overlay?” Won’t working on a top layer set on “normal” do the same thing?

Cool! I've already tried it! The letters for automatic selection must be thick, I did not succeed with thin ones.
