Follow these simple steps to fix Windows cannot find cmd Make sure you typed the name correctly
1) Make sure cmd application is available in default location(C:\Windows\System32)
2) Make sure you are not missing any Windows Environment Variables
Go to System properties and select advanced system settings
Restart your computer if you make any changes in Environment variables)
3) Make sure cmd is not disabled by Windows registry
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System
4)Make sure cmd is not disabled by group policy settings
go to user configuration/administrative templates and system
5) Use Windows Powershell to open cmd type start cmd
6) Restore your system to the last date when cmd was working

d:\refers to the place that is unavailable. it can be on the drive on this computer or on the network. check to make sure the disc is inserted properly or you are connected to the internet or your network and then try again if it still can not be located the information can be moved to a different location. for windows 7 ultimate 64- bit

Just delete this key from registry:
NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options
(The whole "registry folder").

I remember deleting the files associated with the game a while back but not actually uninstalling it first from the computer. problem for me is that it is in a completely different folder and for some weird reason i cant play half of my games, it's weird why i can't play them without cmd being in system32, cmd is located in SysWOW64 instead of system32, why did it just move from system32 to this folder?

Edit Group Policy not available on Windows 10 Home Edition, but I did find that the Environment variables were not there, and I think that will fix my problem (fingers crossed).
