Let's be honest, having your mother live to be a healthy 130 (or however old she is) is a better deal than being a lame duck king

How you become King when your mom is Immortal LOL

Lol 25 years after this was made, he still hasn't been. I also think it's ridiculous to call him a single father. Like they don't have dozens of staff.

This show is almost as old as the Queen when she was crowned!

I absolutely despise the language used in this documentary. It's always "Camilla and Charles were extraordinarily close" but about Diana, it's "She had already betrayed her husband".
Clearly, this suggests that what Charles did was somewhat fine, while what Diana did was unforgivable.
He cheated for years! She was trapped in the marriage and forced to suffer countless indignities. If anything, her being unfaithful to their marriage is her taking control of her own life and happiness after so many years of trying to be perfect, whereas Charles didn't seem to have tried all that much.

Unfortunately, a lot of this is decidedly biased against Princess Diana. If and most probably when Charles becomes King, he will always be overshadowed by his own son, the future King William.

This is a good question. I think many people don't support him because of the whole story with Diana. William, on the other hand, has way more charisma and a solid famíly. But of course this is a popular opinion, when it comes to the Royals things are not that simple to resolve.

Short answer: yes, unless he dies before his mother. Otherwise, of course he will. What a stupid question.

‘The burden of rivalry w Diana was lifted’ from Charles after her death... how terrible.. he should have embraced and joined in all the love for her...

Charles carried Camilla's picture to the honeymoon. So when did he give Camilla up ?

Judy Wade clearly holds Diana in poor regard. Diana gave her sons junk food and fun??? That was just one of the insightful comments contributed by Ms. Wade. Diana gave her sons a lifelong respect for people and a drive to help others. She was a gentle woman who was HORRIBLY treated by the royal family. I'm actually not a "Princess Diana fan" by any stretch, but you probably shouldn't have interviewed someone who actually seems to loathe Diana, as her contributions are honestly offensive.

Im not going to be sad for him.
I'm rather sad for Diana.
Frankly, i don't think he'll make a good king.

Oh, poor Charles. He knows where he's going to be "next week, next month, next year." Yeah, we all know that. We all know we are going to be going to the same job day after day, year after year. The difference is, we don't have all the money to spend on self indulgences.

No please, do not let him be king. He knew Diana was very young. He should have at least, taken care and protected Diana.

Charles doesn't want the hassle. Besides, his son is better suited to the task.

I don't think you can get past the infamous recording about the feminine product he wanted to be for Camilla.
