Dr. Paul you are making my days. I wake up earlier than my kids and while I'm preparing food for them I'm listening to you. Thank you for making me better parent and better person. All the best

i recognized this too. little kids love sentences like "you got (something of their interest)? really? come on show me!" they get all agitated, happy and want to include you in every way they can. it's very heartwarming.

Lean in & light up ... there you go again Dr. Paul - illuminating the obvious! Never thought about it that way, but I literally just tried it on my 5 year old that was starting to tantrum, & BOOM. She went happily on her way! Magic! 🧚‍♀️

I love what you do. It serves a great purpose. You have helped me—as a grandparent to a 7 yr. old and a 3 yr. old. Monterrey Williams, Bastrop, Texas.

I want to reach out and thank you for your advice in helping my kids listen. Using some of these tools in my life with my children I have seen what can be done and it is amazing. Listen meaning and learn what your kids need

I’ve commented before, but there’s a line for the treat them as people. Yes they are people and should be respected, but my grandson is autistic. So just getting him to stay close for communication is a chore. I try to be respectful, because I want to model. However, with him sometimes you need to be emotionless in the face. Sometimes I have to raise my voice or grab his arm or a loud clap just to try to get his attention or semi control of the situation.
Thanks for the vids and advice, they are much appreciated 🙏🙌

Could you do a video on discipline/consequences from not listening. For toddlers under 2 that don’t talk a lot? This would be so helpful!

Thank you! That makes good sense. I don't have children but I used to be one and you're helping me understand things I want to know.

I can't seem to be able to communicate effectively with my three minor children. After the divorce was final, my hopes of having an easier, more accessible and more frequent communication my children have vanished! No matter the time nor if it's a call or text message; I can't get any of my kids to call me or text me back. My co-parent is not helping me with my issue and I believe she is still blocking my calls and text messages from my children. They were kept away from me for 5 years and despite the efforts to keep me away from my children, I am still fighting this horrible monster. I could really use some advice from a professional with your experience. I love your channel and I am grateful for the work you and your team do for all of us.

Lightening up is a challenge for me. I get so bothered and annoyed at the situation (kid doesn't let me dress her, doesn't want nappy change, ...) and my face just tells her: I don't like this just as much as you don't like it. I imagine what she must think of the world, if we both don't like it but I still force her to do it, with a reasoning ("it has to be done" ... ) that is escaping her. I'll try out your tips
