So, my kids are 11 and 13. Is this still applicable or is there a better resource that still uses these principles but expand and/or offers different methodology for older kids?

I was thinking of getting the book but based on the video, I already do all this. Truly. Does anyone have feedback if the book does work please? For example, if I said to my 6yo "There's a wet towel on the bed", she will say "So?". If I said "I don't like sleeping in a wet bed", she would just laugh and stick out her tongue. If I put labels on item such as "Please do your homework before watching TV or going outside to play", she would rip it up. Really I feel I have tried every parenting strategy and what works, for now, is raising my voice and being firm about removing a privilege. But I know this will stop working as she gets older. So would this book work or would another book? To be honest, I only have these problems during term time. After a couple weeks at home in holiday, her behaviour is much calmer and she starts listening more.

I don't think notes are a good idea. It can come off as passive agressive and cowardly. The rest sounds good
