That was a quite lengthy method.

You can use Merge table instead of Append table.

Merge based on 3 columns and in just 2 clicks it will give same output.
Great to see your powerquery tutorials.

Hi Mynda, this is great, i was wondering can we use PQ for 12 months/Qtr budget and comparison with Actuals for number of Branches and then consolidating the same into States and further consolidating as company and all of it can then be automated by refreshing the source data, happy to share a work book or take up a course recommended.

Firstly, great videos - you have been a life saver. Could I possibly ask you to please do a video on combining non-related tables. I am trying to update my subtotal cost with a variable profit rate that may change from time to time. [sub total]*Variable Cell in another sheet. Hope that makes sense.

Hello Mynda your videos are very useful
I need your help on the following situation.
Everyday I´ve to download my company bank transactions(more than 100) per account, to update my bank statement in Excel.
so I have 10 bank accounts which means 10 different excel download, then I have to load it in a single excel file with one sheet per bank account.
How do I use power query in this situation?

thank u for ur reply but this is not exact what I need .my problem is that I hv 1000 employee's salary sheet in different worksheet for 12 months in random order in rows and I want to add employees salary in a single sheeet in single cell whitout moving in different sheet .is there any solution for this? thank u

suppose from january is month1 and december is month12 so there is 12 sheet.
