RX8 after deflooding

Plenty of smoke but it works! we connected the windscreen washer reservoir to the maintenance ports on the engline, gave it a couple of short squirts in each port, closed them up and kept the key turned for about 20s with the gas all the way down and then did it again with no pedals pressed.
car is totally stock.
The car worked perfectly after this i just felt the need to post this to demo that this amount of smoke isn't the end of the world!
Update - Sold in November 2012 for a BMW 335d...stay tuned!

This one had serious problems and had an engine rebuild with a new rotor. This wasn't burning coolant, just washer fluid! Now runs a dream with straight through pipes too

Rotary engines pump out more horses that a standard v-shaped engine... it hides it for the straight aways though so that's pretty cool

flooding isn't bad it just happens as a result of such a different design... however it looks like this particular RX8 is burning coolant

Fuel shut off switch...i recommend this if you are having flooding problems

How did washer fluid get into the engine?

So if im driving my RX8 about 8 miles down the road and stop at a light and it shuts off but wont come back on til the next day is it flooded???

Ok, you get a standard 1.3 piston engine i'll use my 1.3(ish) Mazda and we will race

Can you tell me why are RX8's so cheap in the UK? i've been living in Harlow for about a year now and i'm tempted to buy one

Dont buy one, I owned one for 2 years. They are cheap for a reason.

Awful car, you will spend so much money keep it running you will have a stroke.
