Mazda RX8 that won't fire up? It could be flooded (with petrol). Here's an effective way to clear it and get it started. It's also possibly to dump engine oil into the intakes to increase compression if you get really brave.

My neighbors are gonna love me when I have to do this on the weekend 😅 I flooded it after cleaning out the ssv valve. Pray for me.

The proper way (book) is by disconnecting the eccentric shaft connector (cuts fuel & spark) & would advise to disconnect the air pump connector too so you don't destroy your catalytic converters with all the excessive fuel on startup. Removing plugs & blowing them out like this video & then putting them back in. If this does not work, remove plugs again & add a little oil to spark plug holes to help gain some lost compression. Like anything, there are many ways to skin a cat, the directions above are from a TSB per Mazda. You can also suck oil in through a PCV port if it has enough vacuum.

I dont know much, is there a fuse to isolate the pump, rather then having to open up the fuel pump itself?

Would taking out the fuel pump fuse have the same effect?

dont need to disconnect fuel pump read the owners manual
by putting the throttle to the floor on the RX8 it stops the fuel pump
or the other options are disconnect the crank sensor. or the relay don't need to but just to let anyone reading know as most will still have the back seat in
