Followed all steps, but could not connect to the MS Store or Xbox App, then realised Hostprocess for Windowsservices in the Killer Controll Center was blocked. I know this sounds obvious, but maybe somebody is in the same situation and my story can help out. Thanks for the Video although (Y)

1/26/2020: The man clearly describes a few POTENTIAL solutions to an error code you may experience on your computer. I had this error code, and his first couple of solutions did not work. The final one solved my sign-in error problem on Xbox Console (For PC). People should not dislike simply because the proposed solutions did not work for you. THANK YOU!!! this problem was driving me nuts. The last part about uninstalling the drivers and telling windows to look for new hardware fix it for me. I did have to reboot the computer after that to make it work. Thanks again.

Thanx! the first disabling MS blah blah worked for me. but I have to mention that as I don't use wifi I disabled it on ethernet too. Wouldn't it be needed to enable it for any windows features later?

Still having this issue to the day! Can sign into Microsoft website and Xbox site on the same machine no problem. Even after all the advanced troubleshooting, I still get 0x800704cf. Everything Microsoft related works except for the Microsoft Store??? HELP!!!

Completed all the steps in sequence up until the last command prompt procedure. This resolved my issue, many thanks for your help.
Pretty crappy of MS to get users systems into this state. Microsoft Helps suggestion was to do a refresh or reinstall. Which is appalling.

Being a little hard of hearing (the wife: a LITTLE?!) I turned up the volume & increased viewing size, & stopped & started the video several times to take very careful notes.
