Even I can do the math. Companies are not interviewing: they are laying off. Plus, in the tech field, the desirable employees sought after are already contacted.

how can you help anyone to find jobs, when there's no job?

I had a interview last week at a car dealership porter position (more of aiming for detailing), they called me in for an interview and there were many key words and sentences they used such as “we normally hire within our dealership unless we can’t find people, we will pull random people from outside” which was already a knock off the list for me, I wanted part time position when she had called me before the interview and said they can be flexible but when during the interview she stated “we preferably want full time” so there’s that, it’s been a week since then I’ve heard back 😕

Be aware of entities wanting a person in a leadership roll like a supervisor or management and to strive for improvements in efficiency/ productivity.

The question arises why they didn't hire within. Answer, because no one was dumb enough to accept the job. 😮

This is really great advice. I'm not unemployed but am extremely anxious about it. Getting help like this sounds like a good way to take control of what you can and to be as well prepared as possible.

The job market was also terrible in the early eighties...

Are you for real? The person was asking for advice. Not for you to charge him $100 a month for a class he can't afford or utilize. You make money on youtube already, and you want that person to join your class to make even more? What kinda crap is that?

I've been deparate a number of times and would accept a night shift. Fortunately one job i've stayed the longest eliminated the night shift.

I love the idea of your service.
Based on the many candidates I have interviewed .. and sadly a few friends .... many people cannot grasp the effective way to get a job.
My only concern is that many of your 'trainees' are probably going to be 'unfixable'.
They will have a broken worldview which nothing you can do will correct.
I'm really not sure how you can avoid 'failing' with these (many?) difficult cases.
They will fill up your time, ignore your advice - and then give you bad reviews because THEIR errors are apparently YOUR fault.
Can you make money long-term and stay focused in the face of these problems?

Methods of effective job seeking can be taught. That does not gurantee results. Too many variables.

We need to monitor this. It's a bad idea to hang on to the notion that the job market is broken when it recovers.

This job market got me wondering if the skinny rich investors buying up section 8 in ohio are less greasy than the Canadian geese who entered illegally 😂

Wow Rico- I was a believer of your message, but, thinking you are just another one of the pay me to get you a job scammers… I’m sorry I’ve come to that conclusion, but you are looking like a nice presenter on utube, a great self-justifying marketer… un-subbing after this one….
