it is logical that the blood pressure is calibrated using a more precise cuff based blood pressure monitor rather than a wrist type but then it will read the blood pressure from the wrist. so i calibrated mine with a wrist monitor. works fine.

Recording ECG works fine on my Galaxy Watch4 (H71M) model SM-R870 in Canada. But, can't calibrate. It says "No compatible watch found. To use this feature, you need a Galaxy watch Active 2 or later model that was released in a country where this feature has been arpproved. It's on One UI v 5.0 Watch. Software version R870XXU1HWH3 / SM=R870NZKAXAA." Am I missing something?

edit - mine a 40mm non pro watch 5. Answer me, swiped the watch face and no ecg. The options to add Tiles had no ecg under Samsung health. Some watches are not ecg equipped?

app is not present on the Galaxy store. I am using a Note series phone.

This video is from Canada. I wasted a lot of time trying to get it set up in U.S. Will not work here. Not even an option. My blood pressure device pairing app (Omron Connect)is also unbelievable in the amount of data they collect and sell. You cannot opt out of marketing and data sharing unless you live in California or Maryland. If you have an Omron device for taking your BP, i suggest not installing the device app until Samsung gets approval for this feature in the U.S. I am considering reseearch on whether there is an alternative device more respectful of medical privacy. Video was good. I just wish since it was Best Buy, that my assumption the information was for the U.S. was disabused earlier. I thought it was not approved, I did not realize that meant you could not use it at all. Good video. Bad we are being held back in U.S.

I have a Galaxy Watch 4 and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, but I don't see the BP option for the watch, only ECG? How do I get the BP app for the watch? I'm in the US and I have a normal BP cuff too.

U.S. buyers beware the blood pressure and glucose features are not available. I bought one for just that the BP monitoring. Every country allows this feature but U.S. Wish I lived near Canada so I could have gotten one there U.S. ‘s FDA is worthless.
