Camera Guides, that was fantastic! I didn't realize that there were such easy ways to change those settings around. I'm still new to photography (started in November), and have really been enjoying my D3300, but when I was fiddling with manual settings a couple weeks ago I couldn't find the shutter or aperture settings. I know as a photographer since 13. I know you can change exposure by a higher or lower shutter speed. Depending on the lighting conditions.

Is it possible to change the settings for the Auto mode? When just taking quick pictures on festival for example I use Auto, but the shutter speed is usually too long so the photos are not sharp.

Hi there I know this a old video but my d3300 has a t setting on the shutter speed think this may of been an update as I can't find anything about it but seems to me that the shutter can stay open as long as I like would this be good for star trails
