Camera Guides, that was fantastic! I didn't realize that there were such easy ways to change those settings around. I'm still new to photography (started in November), and have really been enjoying my D3300, but when I was fiddling with manual settings a couple weeks ago I couldn't find the shutter or aperture settings. You made this incredibly easy! 10/10 will watch again and again until I have this memorized.

Love the video. Short sweet and to the point. No jibber jabber in between words. Love it and thank you. As a beginner this was very helpful and I get overwhelmed easily and give up. This gave me so much confidence and hope. Thank you again.

Wow and thanks!

I knew how to change the last two but not the shutter speed and looked for hours.

So simple when you know how!

Thanks! Got one of these over the summer and I'm finally getting around to doing more than just pointing and shooting on auto! Although those pictures are great, too!

I know as a photographer since 13. I know you can change exposure by a higher or lower shutter speed. Depending on the lighting conditions.

Is there a tutorial on how to set shutter speed, frame rate, and/or iso for different types of shots like making an object stand out while the background is blurry, or making those surreal photos of waterfalls etc? Thank you. This video was very helpful.

"There's a button on the top"? You wouldn't care to mention WHICH of the three buttons there is "the button"?

So longer exposure is how people get those freaky light pictures, right? (With cars, glowsticks, carnivals, etc.)

Is it possible to change the settings for the Auto mode? When just taking quick pictures on festival for example I use Auto, but the shutter speed is usually too long so the photos are not sharp.

The shutter speed depends on the lens you use right?

Hi there I know this a old video but my d3300 has a t setting on the shutter speed think this may of been an update as I can't find anything about it but seems to me that the shutter can stay open as long as I like would this be good for star trails
