Thank you kindly for your information. I've had my T3i since 2013 and sad to say, I truly did not take full advantage of what my camera can do. Long story short I am now relearning my camera instead of "buying a better camera" and getting better results from my first camera. Thank you :)

Excellent! Searching for simple instructions for quite a while on manual control of T3i for shutter control. This explains what I need for astrophotography through telescope much more concise and to the point than anything else I’ve come across in research. Other vids assume or otherwise ignore that viewer is a beginner and may not know how to control basic camera functions. Again we’ll done. I’ll be taking your tutorial on trial when the night skies are clear. Many thanks.

thanks for the tips, I pulled my canon back out and needed to get these topics straight to shoot the full moon. Im close. I used ISO of 100 but wasnt sure how to adjust shutter speed until you showed me on that dial. thanks. mike
