BlackBerry Z10 Review

Whoa! What's this? A totally brand spanking new BlackBerry in town, something that has the BlackBerry name on it, but doesn't seem to running the usual BlackBerry OS we're so familiar with. After hibernating for the better part of the last year, the company formerly known as Research In Motion, known as simply BlackBerry now, has finally unleashed its long awaited smartphone running its new QNX-based BlackBerry 10 platform. For a company attempting to establish its prominence once again in the business, a lot is hinging on this gamble of sorts -- especially taking into factor the exorbitant amount of time they've spent on it.

very much alike to iPhone 5, and iOS also. But seem to be fun somehow. Don't know how its battery performance would be ?

This phone is more of a catchup response rather than overwhelm the competition.

I like the multi-language feature along with Blackberry signature encryption features. Blackberry definitely came out the gate hard. Then only downsides are no widgets, live wallpapers, no Gorilla Glass, and it's iCrap like icons. I will just have to wait for a major OS update or next version.

no problem i get a little dissapointed when i see lower res displays because well im just so used to my macbook pro retina it makes everything else look pixelated lol

For someone looking for simplicity and yet a concise experience this phone is pretty good...Or people not tech savvy will still be able to navigate this phone...I think it is pretty attractive.

Great Review John V. A lot to take away from that. Like you, I too am disappointed with the step back platform unless your coming from BB handset. Otherwise risky move from the other handset devices. Forewarning: Off the Box Z10 already consumes 4.3Gb costumes

its a lot that he didn't understand to explain, like when in the camera you dont have to move the sensor to make it focus, it always stays in focus, if it sits still for 1 sec, it will focus automatically

Which Nexus? I've had the G. Nex, and now the Nexus 4, but I'm selling it in March to get the Z10. I've actually been really disappointed with the N4, and really looking forward to trying this new OS. I don't mind the app gap as much since I have a tablet, so I'll be fine for a while. Plus, Skype, Whatsapp, FB, Twitter, etc. are all there. Can't wait till March!
