Cooper, Roswell, John Wilkes Booth and more. In addition, for the first time, the family of John Wilkes Booth is releasing 60 boxes of sealed family documents and allowing a DNA test that may hold the answers to whether he truly died in a fire following the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, or if he faked his death as many believe.

Rest in peace souls.

Can't imagine how terrifying all those people must've been when they realized the ship wasn't invincible as they were told.

When humans progress and feel they're mightier than the nature. Nature doesn't need humans to survive.

Crazy to think that people were awakened by the collision, and within 3 hours they would be swimming in the ocean watching the ship they were just on fall into the abyss

The lesson of Titanic can be applied in many areas of life not just to sea navigation.

THE ENGINE ROOMS were *NOT* exposed to initial damage. Boiler rooms 5 & then 6 WERE and these were located way forward. Among a couple of the most truly amazing things about Titanic's foundering were the fact that the ship's architect (Andrews) did NOT expect the ship to last as long as she, in fact, did (he calculated 1-1.5 hours). Titanic actually took 2 hours, 45 mins. to sink. The other amazing thing is that Titanic's incredible team of engineers were able to keep the ship alight until literally the last minute! Titanic was a strong ship but NO vessel - not in 1912 nor in 2022 would be capable of surviving a hard grazing of nearly 1/3 the vessel's length with millions of pounds of compressed ice forced against cold steel. While riveted plates might be more susceptible to catastrophic failure, steel is steel and 1 inch thick plates are no match for millions of pounds of compressed ice.

You know how to sink a ship.

Call it unsinkable.

The spirit of death really took the form of a mountainous iceberg that fateful night. So eerie how dark and silent it would have been out there when those poor souls met their horrific fate..

I’ve been a titanic buff since I was a kid and still am to this day, I always wonder what if they didn’t turn and had a head on collision instead, the ship would of probably survived and we would never be talking about it, but murdochs instinct to try and avoid it in that situation was 100% a choice anyone would of made

Whenever I read or watch about the Titanic, it makes me feel more than just sad. It angers me that the individuals entrusted to protect disregarded their obligations and thousands suffered terrifying trauma & death. I wonder how they felt when she hit the iceberg. RIP to her passengers and crew
