Heart broken with the loss of Paul-Henri Nargeolet onboard the Titan. A huge loss to the Titanic community, to all of us who learned a lot thanks to him. He salvaged thousands of artifacts from the debris field and gave so much. I find solace that he found his resting place doing something he absolutely loved. Rest in peace, Mr Titanic.

The Titanic will never cease to fascinate me. I can watch every documentary on the subject and never get bored.

Shows how James Cameron is so dedicated to the ship, and much more than just making a film about it 25 years ago.

13:15 Started watching this video after catching up with news about the Titanic submersible incident.
It is emotional to find Paul-Henry Nargeolet (who is among the missing 5 people) here and learn about his passion and his expeditions.

Cameron is a true professional. Stockton was a first class cowboy.

I feel lucky to live in a time where the ship still looks majestic and fully recognizable.

I’m so thankful to James Cameron for making the movie. It’s what initially caught and caught my interest in 1999 at 5 years old. My sister and I got my mom to buy books on Titanic, actual educational books at ages 5 and 10, all because we wanted to learn more. That in itself is impressive, making kids that age want to learn something outside of school. My sister’s interest subsided over time, but to this day I’m still incredibly fascinated and intrigued by Titanic and the stories surrounding her from her birth to today. I’m so thankful to Cameron and every single researcher that has surveyed the wreck over the years and all we’ve learned because of them

This incredible and unbelievable story is so fascinating I watch every single documentary on it and it's always so emotional. Titanic's story will never go away and it's up to us to keep the memory of her alive

The Titanic always fascinates me. And it’s good to know there are people caring so much for it as James Cameron does. It would be such a shame if artifacts are taken for commercial purposes.
Everytime I see the footage when they dive down it strikes me how hauntingly beautiful she is

In regards to the raising of "The Big Piece" 38:23 it wasn't as simple as that. This documentary omits that on the first attempt at salvaging it, it was nearly at the surface when they had to cut it loose due to swells caused by hurricane Edward and the lacking of winch capacity of the salvage ship. It sank back to the ocean floor. It took a second attempt two years later to bring it back up.

The thing with this ship is, it’s impossible to know *everything* about it, the events of that night or it’s passengers. Every piece of it’s story opens up another story, the wealth of history and information is huge.

I like how this documentary shows the likely state of the wreck in the year of the sinking, everything still looks brand new the paintwork etc

"XX dives to the Titanic" is just as cool as "XX times in space". I don't know much about Cameron, but I know almost anybody aware of the Titanic's history is because of him. He seems so interested in it and deepwater-anything that it kind of surprises me he did not pursue a career in science instead of ending up in the Film industry.
