Nice video. Some notes.
1) The first civilization in Mesoamerica were the olmecs, not Mayans (that is up to some debate, still).
2) That thins shown at 9:00 is mexica (aztec) and not quite a calendar.
3) People in Mesoamerica, including mayan, aztec and... well EVERY CULTURE did know the wheel. It just happens that not all landscapes and resources are suitable for the same kind of use.
